Hi, How wide is the base plate? Can the handle be used on an outside door at the coast? If not, can the handle be galvanized and then powder coated black? Can the base plate be made wider? Thanks: Hi Wayne. The handle can only be powder coated. Cost to galvanise is extreme but the powder coating alone should be sufficient. Base is currently 40mm wide but we can customise to your needs.
